The Republic of Srpska is taking measures in order to decrease the level of the gray economy
The main controlling measures are focused on the obligation of the retailer on the issuance of the fiscal receipts and registrations of the turnover in the way defined by law. The non-issuance of the fiscal receipts or non-adequate registration of the turnover is most often registered in the hospitality business environment. For the first 4 months of 2021, the tax inspectorate has conducted more than 1259 controls and has registered that on 183 occasions the taxpayers haven’t issued the fiscal receipts in the manner defined by law, so adequate penalties have been defined.
