Payment methods that are allowed in Serbia are cash, instant payment, card payment, check, bank transfer, voucher, or other non-cash payment. A customer can pay using any of these payment methods alone or combining any of them, therefore using mixed payment.

In the case of mixed payment, all used payments methods with corresponding amounts need to be specified on a fiscal receipt. The taxpayer specifies the payment methods through the electronic fiscal device within the data on the payment method, whereby he is obligated to state the paid amounts divided by individual methods of payment.

For instance, if a customer is paying for an item in cash and via card simultaneously, the precise amount he paid in cash needs to be specified as the amount paid in cash, and the precise amount he paid via card needs to be specified as a card payment.
