Soon, e-receipts can also be issued using online cash registers, which are much more often used than virtual cash registers.

In accordance with the announcements of the ministry, allowing the possibility of issuing receipts in electronic form will allow customers to choose whether he wants to receive a paper fiscal receipt or whether he prefers to receive receipts electronically. There will be no single method of storing and transmitting receipts in electronic form. This issue will be developed in the market through self-regulation. The customer will be able to receive an electronic receipt, for example by SMS.

The regulation on this matter was published in the Journal of Law on September 28, 2021, under the name: ORDINANCE MINISTER OF DEVELOPMENT, LABOR AND TECHNOLOGY of 12 September 2021 on technical requirements for cash registers. The regulation, prepared in an agreement between the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Development and Technology, was signed last week.
