New online service - "Electronic mailbox" is prepared to be released into operational mode in Republic of Srpska by the Tax authorities

The Tax Administration of the Republic of Srpska is currently completing the last tests and preparations for the commissioning of a new electronic service for taxpayers, which is the "Electronic Mailbox", which will put this institution in line with the most modern tax administrations with taxpayers, said by Goran Maricic, director of the Tax Administration of Republika Srpska.

The representatives of the Tax Authorities explained that the "Electronic Mailbox", which will be put into operation by the end of this month, will enable remote, two-way communication and exchange of documents between taxpayers and the Tax Administration, without the need to come to the counters, which is a kind of pioneering endeavor of the Tax Administration of the Republic of Srpska as a fiscal state.

The novelty that awaits taxpayers by the end of this year, and which will improve and facilitate communication with the Tax Administration, is the launch of the "Electronic Mailbox". This new option will serve as a tool for secure two-way communication between taxpayers and the Tax Administration. The electronic mailbox is designed so that the document can be sent to the taxpayer or from the taxpayer to the Tax Administration, ie taxpayers will receive tax documents in their e-mail box, which can be easily downloaded, viewed, or sent to the Tax Administration via the same e-mailbox. 

With the introduction of this service to taxpayers, the Tax Administration of the Republic of Srpska, according to the explanation given by the Tax authorities itself, will in the future have everything in one place and perform their obligations with a few clicks. Practically, as they explained the goal is to make it as easy as possible, simplify and make it cheaper for taxpayers to fulfill their tax obligations.

In addition to the possibility of electronic submission of all tax returns, which the Tax authorities of this state have enabled last year, as well as the Android mobile application "ePURS" with which citizens can access their tax records, the "Electronic Mailbox" is another novelty created for the taxpayers. The last check-ups are in order, and this new option will be, as Tax authorities said, usable by the end of 2021.
