Cash payment limit in B2C transactions in Poland

The limit consumer payments (B2C transactions) will be 20.000 zlotys and it will be applied from January 1st, 2022.
Also, from next year, entrepreneurs will have to provide their customers with the option of paying electronically, i.e. via a terminal, telephone, or transfer.

It is important to note that the limit also applies to transactions between domestic and foreign entrepreneurs. Therefore, if the total amount is shown in a foreign currency, it should be converted in accordance with the average foreign exchange rate announced by the National Bank of Poland on the last business day preceding the transaction date.
