The main differences between the latest version of the technical specification and the telematic transmission of fee data in Italy

Last week, an update of the documentation in relation to the technical specification for electronic storage, the telematic transmission of the fee data, was published on the Revenue Agency website. It represents an updated version that contains certain changes and additions. In summary, the new version contains, in general:

• the requirements for the digital commercial document have been added.
• changed the format of the XML files for extracting summary memory and memory of detail to add information and adapt them to those currently memorized in the tax records.
• Provide information relating to the lottery.
• Provide details on the behavior of the RT in the event of a period of inactivity.
• added a new messaging service that enables the agency to send RT-coded messages, and more

Also, there has been published an attachment to the RT technical specifications with more technical documents. In summary, that refers to:

• Updated Table 9: List of intervention codes on RT sent automatically by the RT
• Commercial Document Layout V.5 updated (added two-dimensional code for lottery)
• Fees 7.1 data type attachments have been updated.
• Updated Description of Minimum Tests (for Periodic Verification)
