A new tax reform presented by the Croatian government
Summary
On May 24, 2023, the Government of the Republic of Croatia presented a plan for changes to tax regulations that should take effect on January 1, 2024.
Presenting the announced tax changes, within which nine laws will be changed, Prime Minister Plenković emphasized that the main goal of this reform is to increase wages for all citizens.

- Law on Financing of Local and Regional (Regional) Self-Government,
- Law on Contributions,
- Law on Fiscalization in Cash Transactions,
- Law on profit tax,
- VAT-law,
- Law on tax consultancy and
- Law on Administrative Cooperation in the Tax Area.
