Greece sets data requirements that need to be declared for payment instruments that accept card payments.

The Greek tax authorities (AADE) have announced new data requirements for the declaration and registration of payment instruments that accept payments with cards, smartphones, and other similar means. The new data requirements will apply from September 29, 2023, and will affect both the payment service providers (PSPs) and the payment service users (PSUs), such as businesses and professionals. These new requirements were recently published in a special decision by AADE, A.1137/2023.
