Italy introduces changes in VAT in 2024.
Summary
The draft budget law for 2024 introduces major changes from different perspectives. More precisely, if we consider that the VAT rate will range from 5% to 10% for certain products (feminine hygiene products, infant formula, and certain food preparations for infants will be specially regulated), diapers and child car seats may no longer receive reduced VAT rates.

These changes are part of a limited-scope reform, with a broader reform expected in the future. The 4% VAT rate for pasta, bread, and daily bakery products is also introduced. Of course, the official confirmation for products and VAT rates is expected to be officially published.
