It is noted by an AADE Press release that the deadline is postponed until March 29, 2024, for those businesses wishing to declare to the POS Registry that they are going to replace their cash register with one of the new all-in-one solutions, which do not require additional interconnection actions. It is recalled that in this case, the interconnection period is extended for an additional month, that is, until April 30, 2024.

This extension is given to facilitate businesses following the extension to the deadline for submitting applications in another cycle of the purchase financing, POS upgrade, and interconnection with the cash registers program.

The all-in-one solutions are advantageous as they do not require extra interconnection actions, simplifying the transition process. Moreover, businesses that opt for this solution will benefit from an extended interconnection period until April 30, 2024, allowing for a smoother integration into their operations. This measure is part of Greece's ongoing efforts to modernize its fiscal infrastructure and enhance tax compliance.
