On October 22, 2024, the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) released an updated list of 132 government entities registered on the Peppol network. This inclusion in the Peppol Directory means that suppliers to these entities can expect faster payments if they utilize e-Invoices. The ATO also published a new guide on receiving and processing e-Invoices, aimed at improving efficiency in invoice management for both government and businesses.

On 22 October 2024, the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) published an updated list of 132 Australian government entities that are registered on the Peppol network. The government entities appear on the Peppol Directory along with hundreds of state, territory, and local government organizations, and thousands of other Australian businesses that can receive e-Invoices. As noted by the ATO, suppliers to any of the listed entities may be paid faster if they can send e-Invoices.

Additionally, the ATO also recently published a new Guide to receiving and processing e-Invoices.
