Ghana Rolls Out Real-Time VAT Reporting Through Fiscal Electronic Devices

The Ghana Revenue Authority is set to launch a new VAT system requiring businesses to use Fiscal Electronic Devices (FEDs) at sales points, transmitting data to the tax authority in real time. With 40,000 devices to be deployed, the first phase targets mid-sized shops.
