The Minister of Finance Siniša Mali has announced that starting from October 15th, 2021, tradesmen (including retailers) will be able to apply for state subventions through the Portal of the Tax Administration. The application period that starts on October 15th, 2021 expires on the 31st of January 2022.

He explained that there won’t be additional costs for these businesses during the introduction of the system, that the total amount of the subventions for these purposes will amount to six billion dinars. These subventions will be given in money and paid directly to each taxpayer to cover the costs of providing the necessary electronic fiscal devices.
Every taxpayer who applies for the subventions will receive a certain amount of money for acquiring a new electronic fiscal device as well as 100 euros for applying as a taxpayer. Therefore, 100 euros worth of subvention will be paid to each taxpayer per taxpayer as well as additional 100 euros per each bought electronic fiscal device.
In conclusion, the state will cover all real costs of the taxpayers for the transition to the new model through subventions. Taxpayers will directly receive the funds needed to transfer to the new fiscalization model in Serbia.
