Aid packages for businesses following Corona induced lockdown
Default aid includes:
Extension of the default bonus for the period November 2021 to March 2022
with a drop in sales of at least 40% compared to the same month of 2019
The replacement rate of 10 to 40 percent depending on the cost structure of the industry
Cap of EUR 80,000 per month / short-time work allowance
Maximum amount: 2.3 million euros (instead of 1.8 million euros previously)
Application: from the 16th of the following month to the fourth following month, i.e. for November 2021, the application can be submitted from December 16, 2021, until March 15, 2022, at the latest
Loss of turnover aid includes:
Extension of the loss of turnover for the period from January to March 2022
with a drop in sales of at least 40% compared to the same month of 2019
The replacement rate of 70 to 90 percent of the loss
Maximum limit: 12 million euros (instead of 10 million euros)
Application: from the beginning of 2022. The payment will be made in up to two installments, which must be applied separately. As part of the first installment, 70% of the anticipated loss compensation can be requested and paid out. The second installment basically comprises the remaining amount of 30%, although any corrections in the course of this installment must also be taken into account. However, it is not mandatory to apply for loss compensation in the context of the first installment; the entire loss compensation (100%) can also be applied for with a single application in the context of the second installment.
