The Ministry of Finance in Bulgaria launched an information site dedicated to the introduction of the euro in Bulgaria.
It is introduced to serve as a useful and reliable source of accurate, timely, and up-to-date information and to collect all important news, decisions, and events in one place related to the introduction of the single European currency in Bulgaria. In addition to text content, the page also includes multimedia components such as videos, image galleries, documents, a calendar presenting Bulgaria's path to the euro, etc. It is possible to share the content on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

In the specially created "About the Euro" section, citizens and businesses will find short and accurate answers to the most frequently asked questions. Another highlight of the e-page is the "Is it true that?" column. It provides factual answers to some of the most common false statements and unfounded concerns related to Bulgaria's accession to the Eurozone. "New Money" features images of the series of banknotes produced by the European Central Bank (ECB), which are used to pay the citizens of the countries in the euro area. The brochure of the national side of the Bulgarian euro coins, created by the BNB, can also be viewed here. In a special column, the readers can read analytical articles and interviews from the press, radio stations, television, and other electronic media that present the opinions of the involved institutions and specialists on this important topic for all Bulgarian citizens.
The page will be constantly supplemented with information, opinions, and comments from leading specialists from various fields, as well as the latest news important to users about the process of introducing the euro.
However, we still wait for official law, changes in other regulations (especially from a fiscalization perspective), and deadlines.
