Hungary’s Tax Authority (NAV) has released the eNyugta customer app to help customers access and manage their purchase receipts digitally. The goal is to make shopping easier and more secure and reduce the use of paper receipts.
What the app offers:
- View detailed receipts for purchases made,
- Store, track, and analyze your spending over time,
- Helps users monitor personal finances more easily.
The app is available on Google Play (Android) and App Store (iOS).
System requirements:
- Android: Version 13.0 or higher,
- iOS: Version 16.0 or higher,
- Must have an active internet connection,
- Works only in portrait mode on smartphones.
Language support:
- Available in Hungarian and English,
- Automatically matches your phone's system language (defaults to Hungarian if unsupported),
- Language can be changed on the app's first screen.
Accessibility features:
- Adjusts font size to system settings,
- Compatible with screen readers for visually impaired users,
- High contrast design for better readability.
Updates and version checks:
- NAV checks your app version each time you log in:
- Mandatory update: App won’t work until updated,
- Recommended update: App works, but update is suggested,
- No update needed: App continues to function normally.
This version control ensures the app remains secure and up to date.
