Currently, in Romania, there are over 80,000 vending machines for the distribution of coffee, juices, water, sandwiches or sweets, etc.
The Authorities have stated that this modified deadline became necessary to avoid sanctioning the economic operators who perform deliveries of goods or services through commercial vending machines for non-compliance with the obligation to equip themselves with fiscal electronic cash registers, given that the obligation could not be fulfilled previously for reasons not attributable to them.
