Montenegro has an online-based fiscalization system. That means that transactions are sent directly to the tax administration from the POS systems, and an authorization code is sent back.

We can summarize that POS systems must be able to support digital certificates (for the signing of transactions) and internet connections (for communication with fiscal authorities). Issuing a fiscal receipt is an obligation, and it must be issued in real-time for authorization by the government server (assignment of JIKR to the receipt). JIKR is the unique receipt identification code. More elements are, of course, required to be present on the fiscal receipt.
