General information
The new FTA portal went live today. It brings together the Federal Tax Administration’s main online services into a single, centralised platform, making authorisations and services easier to access.
The following services, previously available on ePortal, are now accessible on the FTA portal:
- myFTA (registration and management of businesses and individuals)
- Register for VAT
- Submit VAT returns using VAT return pro
- VAT certificates
- Radio and television fee
- Withholding tax and stamp duties
Access
You can log in to the FTA portal via “Login” on the FTA homepage or in ePortal.
The FTA is gradually migrating all online services to the new portal. As of today, “VAT return easy” is no longer available. The tax calculator has also been removed from ePortal and can now be accessed via the FTA website or at swisstaxcalculator.estv.admin.ch.
