The Danish Business Authority has released version 1.17.2 of the OIOUBL 2.1 schematron as an emergency hotfix. The update corrects a validation problem found in the previous 1.17.1 version.
The issue affected invoices where VAT codes were different at line level and in document-level surcharges or discounts. These invoices were being wrongly rejected, even though they could be valid.
The new version introduces a new validation rule, F-LIB404, to check that VAT codes used on invoice lines and in document-level allowances or charges are consistent with the VAT information declared at document level.
The update also changes the tax category code list to version 1.4. The content remains mostly the same, but several UNCL5305 values have been added to support the conversion of Peppol invoices into OIOUBL format.
In addition, rule F-LIB403 has been expanded. It now validates currency codes not only for cbc: Amount, but for all monetary fields whose element name ends with “Amount”.
Overall, this hotfix is mainly a technical correction, but it is important for businesses and system providers using OIOUBL because it prevents valid invoices from being incorrectly rejected.
