As a reminder, e invoices-structured invoices will be issued and received via the ICT system, meaning the National System of e-Invoices (KSeF).

The use of e-invoices will be voluntary. The implementation of e-invoices is another example of the digitization of tax services.

According to law, the provisions would enter into force on January 1st, 2022 and from that date, structured invoices will be able to be used voluntarily by taxpayers.

According to earlier announcements of the Ministry of Finance, the use of structured invoices will be obligatory for taxpayers from 2023.
