Fiscal subject related
Content
The latest information states that the target date for the adoption of the euro in Bulgaria is January 1, 2025. The Deputy Minister of Finance announced that this law will be submitted to the National Assembly within a month. All of this is related to problems with Bulgaria joining the Eurozone. From the Ministry, we also find out that they are preparing an information campaign to answer all people's questions. Also, the Ministry of Finance is working on the preparation of the necessary legislation. We are also waiting to see how this will affect fiscalization, because it will probably require changes in fiscal devices, different regulations, a changed fiscal receipt, etc. The National Bank of Bulgaria is also involved in this project and also prepares regulations in its domain. Definitively, the work on the euro is continuing, but the law is not yet officially accepted.
