The deadline for anyone who is unable to print the required documents due to a lack of equipment or an unconfigured system is March 1st, 2026. The resolution No.12 that was published on January 17th 2025 by the SII, Chile's tax authority which states guidelines for companies on printed electronic invoices and receipts that took effect on May 1st, 2025.

Cash or Bank Transfers: Companies are required to provide a printed copy of the electronic receipt to clients.
Debit or credit cards: Companies must give customers a printed payment confirmation or a printed copy of the electronic receipt.
Companies can still offer to transmit electronic copies of the payment confirmation or receipt by email, WhatsApp, or other channels. It's crucial to keep in mind that they are still required to provide a physical copy even with this digital option.
These individuals must nonetheless adhere to the regulations in the interim by transmitting the digital copy of the e-receipt and/or payment confirmation via email, text message, mobile apps, or other online channels.
