Fiscal subject related
Online pairing between fiscal devices and payment terminals is possible from April 20, 2026, for payment methods that were active in January.
The connection is carried out through a free online service in the reserved area of the Revenue Agency’s website. Merchants, or their intermediaries, must use the “Invoices and Fees” portal and the “Connection Management” service to link the serial number of their registered cash register with the identification data of their payment terminal.
For payment terminals already in use on January 1, 2026, or used between January 1 and 31, 2026, the 45-day deadline that began on March 5 ends on April 20. New payment terminals must be connected starting from the sixth day of the second month after they become available and no later than the last working day of that month.
To assist merchants, the Revenue Agency has published a detailed operational guide and a set of FAQs. These resources explain the procedure step by step, clarify common doubts, and cover cases such as linking one payment terminal to multiple registers or exemptions for certain transactions.
