The Financial Administration has started its summer inspection campaign "Hot Summer 5", continuing efforts under the Action Plan to Combat Tax Evasion. The campaign focuses on proper sales registration and aims to raise awareness among entrepreneurs, encourage voluntary compliance, and ensure fair business conditions.

Inspectors will concentrate on seasonal and high‑risk businesses such as:

  • Buffets and bars
  • Restaurants and stalls at fairs, festivals, swimming pools, and sports events
  • Body care services, private health facilities, clinics, and craftsmen
  • Operations with previous violations will also be checked.

The campaign is based on analysis showing that businesses with a high share of cash payments are more likely to risk improper sales recording. The goal is not punishment but prevention — helping entrepreneurs meet obligations and ensuring equal conditions for all.

If customers do not receive a valid receipt, they can report it via:

  • Email: pokladnica@financnasprava.sk
  • eWallet mobile application

The Financial Administration will continue to enforce measures to prevent tax evasion and support voluntary compliance.
